WATCH: Leo Cullen wants big atmosphere as Leinster await Toulouse

It may have appeared a fairly routine Pro 14 win for Leinster, but Leo Cullen is still not entirely happy with what he witnessed at the RDS tonight.

Overcoming Ulster with a 40-7 scoreline, Cullen was nevertheless critical of lapses in concentration that, on another day, could have cost the Irish province dearly.

"The start of the second-half, that 20-minutes, we could probably be better there," Cullen explained to Off the Ball in the immediate aftermath of tonight's game.

"In terms of applying more pressure, particularly when we have the ball, we just let Ulster off on a few occasions.

"Keep our attention to detail around the basics of the game is what we said [at half-time], which we didn't do particularly well, so, whatever message we were saying didn't land very well.

"In a closer game, they'll come back to really hurt you."

With the win secured, nevertheless, Leo Cullen already had his eyes firmly fixed on next weekend, and a crucial Champions Cup clash with Toulouse.

Currently sitting second in Pool 1, Leinster welcome table-topping Toulouse with the memory of their 28-27 defeat in France still fresh in mind. With two games remaining in the pool stages of this year's competition, Cullen called on the Leinster fans to make a difference when their French opponents arrive in Dublin next Saturday.

"This builds us in to next week, and the next couple of weeks," Cullen stated.

"We've a big game here against Toulouse next week, and it is already sold-out.

"So hopefully everyone is in early for an early start and we get that atmosphere in the ground, and make it difficult for the opposition team that comes here."

With a game against Wasps to come quickly thereafter, Cullen admitted that he and his team were now firmly back in "Europe mode."
