Ireland have been dealt a blow for the remainder of the 2020 Women's Six Nations Championship, with teenage winger Beibhinn Parsons taking time out to focus on her studies.

The 18-year-old has been arguably Ireland's standout player in the opening rounds of the championship, scoring crucial tries in the wins versus both Scotland and Wales.

However, the winger will miss the remainder of the tournament, as she focuses her attention towards her Leaving Cert.

Parsons is the only change to the 24-player squad, as Adam Griggs's side prepare to face England at Twickenham this Sunday. He says the teenager's exams have to come ahead of her rugby.

"It’s been a couple of big weeks for Beibhinn, but we spoke to her and came up with a plan at the start. Her studies are very important so we’ll be giving her the time off and she’ll concentrate on her leaving cert and come back to us in the summer."

Katie Fitzhenry returns to the 15s setup, having been on tour with the Irish Sevens team in recent weeks.
