The scoreboard reveals a 12 point loss but in truth, Ireland were roundly trounced by England at Twickenham.
Andy Farrell's men were primarily undone by themselves, as England played well, but not amazing, to capitalise on a litany of Irish mistakes.
England were up from it from the start and mistakes from some of Ireland's most experienced players – namely, Johnny Sexton and Conor Murray – left them looking shellshocked as the Six Nations championship swung in France's favour.
Here's what twitter had to say after a big setback for Ireland.
Don't know if it's coming across on the radio or TV comms but the @EnglandRugby lads are loving winning all those collisions, screaming and whooping their way to victory #ENGvIRE #SixNations #rterugby pic.twitter.com/AvkLk5qyJV

Horrible performance but I can’t understand how England not been pulled for offside. Line speed not normal #IrevEng
