Munster have gone to the very summit of the Guinness Pro 12 after a comfortable 46-3 home win over Benetton Treviso in their Saturday afternoon encounter.
The Irish province scored seven tries in the process as they secured the bonus point win at Thomond Park.
It was Treviso that went in front after an early penalty from Irish out-half Ian McKinley.

But that was their last score on the board as Munster took control of proceedings.
With Tyler Bleyendaal in form with kicking duties, Robin Copeland got the first try of the afternoon on 20 minutes.

Five minutes later, Andrew Conway got his first try of the day before adding another six minutes before the half-time break.

Munster did not left up in the second '40 as Darren O'Shea and Alex Wootton added to two tries from Ronan O'Mahony.

The province now moves on to 33 points in the Pro 12 table, one clear of Leinster who lost at Scarlets on Friday night.
