Five more positive cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the French rugby squad, while two further members of management have been sent home o isolate, after their latest round of PCR testing.
It brings to 14 the number of players and management that have tested positive, leading to major doubts over whether they will play Scotland this Sunday.
Captain Charles Ollivon, prop Cyrille Baille, fullback Brice Dulin, as well as Peato Mauvaka and Romain Taofifenua are the latest players to record positive tests, and have been withdrawn from the squad that are due to prepare for the game against the Scots.
Ollivon, Baille and Dulin all started the win against Ireland eight days ago, with Ollivon scoring the opening try of the game and Dulin claiming the man of the match award.
In total, nine of that matchday 23 have tested positive since the game.
Head coach Fabien Galthie - who is among those to have tested positive - has celled five more players into the squad which he had named yesterday.
Gaëtan Barlot, Thierry Paiva, Cyril Cazeaux, Baptiste Pesenti and Thomas Ramos have all been brought in, with three of those uncapped.
France say they plan to resume collective training on Wednesday subject to further testing.
Galthie's side looked to be favourites to win their first title since 2010, after starting the campaign with two wins from two, defeating Ireland and Italy in the opening weekends.
Meanwhile a 36 man Irish squad will reassemble this morning as preparations for their Guinness Six Nations game against Italy at the weekend step up a notch.
It was confirmed yesterday that there were no significant injury concerns for the players who featured for their provinces in the PRO14 over the weekend.
All 12 will return to the national camp.
