Ireland head coach Andy Farrell has made three changes for Sunday's Six Nations game against Scotland at Murrayfield.

Keith Earls comes into the backline in place of Jordan Larmour, while Cian Healy and Rob Herring are named in the front row.

CJ Stander will win his 50th cap after making his debut against Wales in 2016.

Johnny Sexton captains the side and is again partnered at half-back by Jamison Gibson Park so the fit-again Conor Murray is named among the replacements.

Robbie Henshaw and Garry Ringrose line out in midfield while Earls returns to the back three alongside James Lowe and Hugo Keenan.

In the pack, Healy and Herring are back in the front row alongside Tadhg Furlong with James Ryan and Iain Henderson forming the second row pairing once again.

Tadhg Beirne and Will Connors start alongside Stander in an unchanged back row.

Ronan Kelleher, Dave Kilcoyne, Andrew Porter, Ryan Baird, Jack Conan, Billy Burns and Jordan Larmour are named on the bench with Murray.

Ireland and Scotland both have one win in this year's Six Nations but the Scots have played a game less after their trip to Paris was put on hold because of the French squad’s Covid outbreak.

Scotland started with that historic win over England at Twickenham but were beaten by Wales on the second weekend.

Ireland's only win was away to Italy two weeks ago so the pressure is on Andy Farrell's side to back that performance up against Scotland and England in their final two games.
