'Desire to go forward' earns Edinburgh four the joy of Six

Scotland head coach Vern Cotter has called up four uncapped Edinburgh players for their Six Nations campaign.

Scrum-half Sam Hidalgo-Clyne, back-rows Hamish Watson and Hugh Blake, and lock Ben Toolis are included in a 32-man panel.

"They have impressed me with their desire to go forward," said Cotter. "They reflect the Scottish spirit of attacking and leading, to develop into impressive performers."

Another Edinburgh player, Matt Scott, returns to the fold having missed the Scots' summer tour and autumn internationals.
