Ireland took on England in a rugby legends charity game last night, to honour the memory of Anthony Foley.
Ireland rallied back to steal a 34-24 victory in the end, a scoreline which included a try from Munster legend, and Newstalk Breakfast member, Alan Quinlan.
From a lineout, the ball spills out to Shane Jennings, who blasts through the England cover to dive for the line. But when the bodies move away, it looks as though Quinlan has grounded the ball with Jennings congratulating him.
A replay of the move however, shows Quinlan jump in alongside Jennings and rip the ball out of his grasp at the last second before touching down.
The pair are then seen laughing at the moment, which captured the friendly tone of the evening.
Quinlan was later named the Legends man-of-the-match, in what was the eighth edition of the originally named Stuart Mangan memorial tournament that precedes the Six Nations clash between the two countries.
After the game Quinlan said:
"It was a very special occasion for all of us, for Anthony's family, and Stuart Mangan as well, we can't forget Stuart."
"It's lovely that the English guys came over and played their part."
"It (the game) was played in the right spirit, there was no late tackles or even big tackles. I think that competitive edge kicks in, in us all. The most important thing from today was that we came together to remember Anthony and Stuart, that's why rugby is such a great game."
"It was wonderful that people came out and the money is going to a good charity for the injured players. It's just wonderful to be part of it."
"We'll never get over what happened. He (Anthony) played in these games before. He played hard, he trained hard, but he had fun off the field and that was what was great about Anthony. He'd be the first one into the bar after the match to shake hands with the opposition and have a pint. That's what we'll do tonight."
