Ireland head coach Andy Farrell and a group of 50 players have gathered for a one-day camp at the IRFU’s High Performance Centre in Dublin.
The inaugural United Rugby Championship season gets underway next weekend and then the countdown will be on to Ireland's games against Japan, New Zealand and Argentina at the Aviva Stadium in the Autumn Nations Series in November.
Farrell capped nine new players during the wins over Japan and the USA during the summer with Robert Baloucoune, Caolin Blade, Paul Boyle, Harry Byrne, Gavin Coombes, James Hume, Tom O’Toole, Nick Timoney and Fineen Wycherley all getting their first taste of international rugby.
