'That's what we expect from Kylie' | Jarret on Wexford Cup win

Wexford Youths have retained the Women's FAI Cup after a 3-2 win over Peamount United at the Aviva Stadium.

A first-half brace from Wexford's Lauren Kelly and a bullet shot from Karen Duggan gave Wexford Youths a one-goal half-time lead.

Peamount levelled the scoring six minutes into the second half and looked like pushing for a third. However, it was the Youths' captain Kylie Murphy who eventually found a winner midway through the half when Rianna Jarret's pass released her in the box to set-up a cool finish to seal the win.

Speaking to Off The Ball's Jamie Moore after the match Jarret said the finish was what they had come to expect from their captain.

"To be fair to Kylie she makes those passes week in week out and she does it consistently throughout a game as well.

"We don't always get her the ball or always see her but she continues to make those runs. I suppose In football, nine-time out of ten you might not get the ball but she continues to make the runs and thankfully I was able to put it in her path today.

"She made the run and then the cool and calm finish, like we expect.

"To be fair, she puts it on a path for me so I was just happy I was able to repay the favour to her."
