Trainer Aidan O'Brien has ruled his star filly Love out of a tilt at Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe due to unsuitable ground conditions in Paris.
The 3-year-old has swept all before her this season, winning the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket before going on to land the Oaks at Epsom and the Group 1 Darley Oaks at York.
However, following 19 millimeters of rain at Longchamp last weekend and the prospect of further downpours, Love is not one of 15 declarations for the European showpiece of flat racing.
O'Brien is now considering an attempt at the Breeders Cup Turf with dual Classic winner Love. That race will be held in Kentucky in November.
Jockey Ryan Moore will now ride Mogul in the Arc, with Mickael Barzalona aboard Sovereign and Yutaka Take to take the mount of Japan. Serpentine completes the four-strong challenge from the Ballydoyle stable.
O'Brien has saddled the winner of the Arc on two previous occasions, with Dylan Thomas in 2007 and Found in 2016.
The John Gosden trained Enable will line up for a fourth crack at the race, which she has won twice before. Enable is the current market favourite and will be ridden by Frankie Dettori.
The Arc goes to post at 3.05 on Sunday.
