Former Ireland midfielder Keith Andrews spoke to Jamie Moore on Now That's What I Call Sport on the International future of West Ham star Declan Rice. The man who recently turned twenty has been a main stay in the Hammers midfield putting in impressive performances.
So much so Gareth Southgate and the English FA have approached the English born Rice about changing his allegiances to the country of his birth from Ireland.
The midfielder played three friendly games under Martin O'Neill but because they were non competitive fixtures he has pressed pause on his future for Ireland to consider changing allegiances. Andrews reassures that the Irish lads would welcome Rice back into the fold with open arms should he declare for Ireland, stating the West Ham man is a 'captain in waiting'.
