Pat Nevin joined us to discuss Chelsea's Champions League win - and what happened when he attended the Champions League after-party.
Nevin would be loath to admit state secrets but we got the lowdown on what was happening in Porto after Chelsea lifted ol' Jug Ears.
Chelsea after-party
Nevin spoke about the beautifully strange goings-on at the party, which left him with an hour's sleep.
"Strange things started happening - they were throwing the cup to each other! You're just sitting there and the European Cup's [beside you], I leant against a table once and I nearly knocked it onto cobbled ground and battered the thing!
"It was nice to almost watch it a little bit. There was one lovely moment where I was chatting to wee Billy Gilmour, Billy and I kind of know each other.
"He'd had a few, and he was like 'Pat, have a selfie with me!' I was thinking it should probably be the other way around but as we were doing it, Petr Cech walks over, catches my eye and says 'Hi Pat.' Billy goes 'Wait a minute, Petr,' palms him off because we're having a selfie."
An audience with Thomas
Nevin has been associated with Chelsea for almost 30 years, and was invited to speak to someone who is new but whose place in the club's history is assured.
"One of the other moments was with one of the women that has worked at Chelsea since I've been there. One of them came up and said 'come and meet Thomas,' and she drags Thomas Tuchel to come and meet me.
"The guy is sitting there with the European Cup and he comes over. He is the loveliest man in the world. His kids were falling asleep in his lap and his wife is there, and you can tell they're knackered.
"We had this really lovely chat about the game and about Chelsea fans, he wants to learn about it. It was approaching about 4am, and I said 'Do you know what Thomas, you could probably leave if you wanted, I know you're new here..'
"About five minutes later he left, and I thought 'sensible guy' - half an hour later he's back again without family!"
