Ian Dowling, Paul Corry and Kevin Reilly joined Nathan Murphy on the Saturday Panel to discuss how they dealt with retiring early from the respective sports.
All three were forced to retire from their playing careers due to injury.
27-Year-old Corry played 37 times for Sheffield Wednesday from 2012-15 and believes the hardest part of having to retire early (due to persistent knee problems) was not being able to realise, and fulfil his expectations.
"I set the bar very high for myself; and when I didn't reach it, that was difficult to deal with.
Munster's Ian Dowling also joins the show to speak about calling its a day for Munster. Dowling retired in April 2011 that he was retiring from rugby, due to a hip injury, after medical consultation. The former Munster says he felt the best way to walk away from the province was to make a clean break, once he retired.
"Fast forward to the time the decision needed to be made. I felt I needed to make a clean break."
All three weighed-in with their thoughts on how too deal with life after retirement from professional sports.
