Nathan Murphy was joined on The Saturday Panel by three of Ireland's leading Winter Sports athletes ahead of the 2018 games in South Korea next year.
Patrick McMillan, Cormac Comerford, and Brendan "Bubba" Newby were the guests on Off the Ball as they discussed their sports ahead of the Winter games.
"I was born in Donegal but now I live down in Clare," McMillan told Nathan Murphy, "We always went on ski holidays and back in 2012, my rugby wasn't going the way I wanted so I said: 'what can I do to represent Ireland at the highest level?'
"So I decided to pick skiing and I've stuck with it over the last five years and now I'm here and looking forward to going to the Olympics and representing Ireland on the highest level and the highest stage.
"I played for King's Hospital, Senior Cup rugby and then under-19s at Leinster and it didn't work out and then I played two more years at Lansdowne, wing and centre.

"Tadhg Furlong and Jack Conan, they were the two lads on the same under-19 team as me...it's great to see where they've come to and I always wanted to be alongside them but I had to take my own path and I'm happy that I can compete now in a different sport but on the same level.
"I always knew I'd represent my country at some sport because it's always been my dream since I was a child - it was only a matter of finding a way to do it and just because I couldn't do it in that sport didn't mean I was going to give up and not find a way to do it."
