Snow, everywhere
A downfall of snow in the north of England couldn’t put a halt to proceedings on Derby Sunday, but they weren’t so lucky at O’Moore Park or in Ruislip as the club GAA action suffered two postponements.
None of this was on the level of the scenes in Buffalo, though, as the Bills beat the Colts in a blizzard that Ned Stark warned us all about. Because the Bills fans are batshit crazy, they probably enjoyed watching their team under 12 inches of snow, but their team enjoyed it even more. They got the win in overtime, but not before Ryan Davis celebrated a fourth quarter sack with a snowball fight.

Milk-gate
So there’s varying reports about the severity of what actually happened in the stadium after yesterday’s Manchester Derby. Was it more serious than the Battle of the Buffet? Was it less serious than the Battle of the Buffet?
Well, if Mikel Arteta does indeed have cut on his eyebrow and Jose Mourinho did fall victim to a milk attack, then there is a case to be made that it is more serious than what happened in 2004. Milk is more damaging to one’s clothes and, as far as we know, nobody was actually opened up by any of the pizza used as ammunition that day.
Derby Sunday
Gary Breen was with us to chat about the actual football. He reckons David Silva is going to go down as Manchester City’s greatest ever player, that a backlash might be coming Mourinho’s way and that we should all just sit back and enjoy what could be one of the greatest seasons a club has produced in British football.
On the other derby on yesterday’s slate of games, Breen was once again at pains to point out that Liverpool seriously need to sort that defence out, but also gave credit to Big Sam the ‘forward thinker’ for that result.
I, for one, welcome our new footballing overlords.
Is Gary Breen right? Should we give up on the title race and just sit-back and enjoy the Pep / Man City show? #OTBAM pic.twitter.com/A0MzbJG0kR

Champions Cup
It was an excellent weekend for the Irish provinces in Europe, but Alan Quinlan told us this morning to hold our horses and celebrate after next weekend.
Quinlan talked about Ian Keatley, who is ‘a different player’, Leinster and their recovery taking a setback as a result of more snow and how the Ulster pack helped set the platform for a huge win away to Harlequins.
You can listen to Alan's thoughts in today's OTB AM podcast.
Con O’Callaghan snub
Con O’Callaghan isn’t one of the nominees for RTE Sportsperson of the Year, which gives fresh fuel to the Dublin GAA victim complex. Of course, O’Callaghan should be in there after an incredible calendar year across two codes at underage level and at senior level. But, really, do we want O’Callaghan nominated when we can instead get a fresh dose of outrage from Dublin fans just in time for christmas?
If you’re a Dublin fan and haven’t tweeted about this yet, suggested lines include ‘if he was from Mayo he would have got nominated’, ‘if he was a serial loser he would have got nominated’ and ‘if he was playing one of those garrison games he would have got nominated’.
We would love to hear any and all of your outraged thoughts throughout the week.
