Orla Morgan had to content herself with looking on as Clonduff of Down claimed All-Ireland success in the first-ever All-Ireland intermediate camogie club championship.
Beating Gailtír of Waterford on a scoreline of 0-10 to 0-9 in Croke Park, Morgan had been a starter in the side up to and including the club's defeat of Eglish in the Ulster final.
However, speaking to Aisling O'Reilly of Off the Ball in the aftermath of this afternoon's success, Morgan outlined the understandable reason for her absence.
"Well, I fell pregnant," Morgan stated with a laugh, "so that happened."
"I had mixed emotions obviously going out there today but, you know, a good thing is going to come out of this today too."
Naturally disappointed not to be involved as her club claimed All-Ireland success, Morgan is more than happy to celebrate her teammates after such a monumental win.
"There'll be a wee Clonduffian and they can say they've done a warm-up in Croke Park."

"You didn't feature in the semi-final, why was that?"
"Well...I fell pregnant"
Orla Morgan was a little bit disappointed not to feature for Clonduff today, but it's fair to say she had a good reason! Huge congratulations to @clonduffcamogs on their All-Ireland win! pic.twitter.com/YUBXa9u2eF— Off The Ball (@offtheball) March 3, 2019
