As Ireland prepare to take on South Africa, Alan Quinlan joined Off The Ball:am to look at what sort of squad Joe Schmidt is likely to name.
A lot of the concentration has been on Bundee Aki's likely debut, as the argument around the residency rule flares up again.
However, there was also discussion over what role Joey Carbery could play, as Ireland look to build towards the next World Cup. Equally, with Rob Kearney also in the frame again, Alan Quinlan fielded questions over the inclusion of the veteran fullback with an eye to the future.
"I love seeing guys do that," Quinlan stated, in reference to Kearney's incredible performance against the All Blacks. "Coming back in when they've been written off, and he was fantastic in Chicago. I still think he has a lot to offer."
Catch up with everything else from a packed OTB:am below, as Eoin Sheahan and Dave McIntyre looked through the coverage of Ireland's first test in their international rules series in Adelaide on Sunday and, of course, there's a huge game for Martin O'Neill's side as they look to book their place in Russia.
Gareth A. Davies also joins us to pick through the heavyweight puzzle as Deontay Wilder and Anthony Joshua trade verbal broadsides, as well as looking back at UFC 217, a hugely exciting event that the promotion needed in the absence of Conor McGregor.
