It is being reported that players from both the LA Lakers and the LA Clippers have voted to stop the NBA season.
In a story published by The Athletic earlier this morning, it is being reported that both the Lakers and the Clippers have voted "to stop the NBA season in an emotional players’ meeting of all remaining bubble teams."
This development came hours after players from the Milwaukee Bucks, as a show of protest against the shooting of Jacob Blake by a police officer, refused to take the court for their NBA playoff game with Orlando Magic on Wednesday night.

In an effort to decide what the next course of action would be, it is understood that both the Lakers and the Clippers voted to end the season, while the remaining teams, including the Milwaukee Bucks, voted to play on.
Furthermore, it is being reported that the meeting, which lasted an estimated three hours, ended in "ugly" circumstances with more deliberation expected.
Following the Bucks' decision not to participate in Wednesday night's playoff with the Magic, the NBA opted to postpone all games scheduled for the night ahead.
The Bucks lead the Magic 3-1 in their first round playoff, and a win would have seen Milwaukee progress to meet Miami Heat in the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
After the Magic had initially taken to the floor for their pre-game warm-ups on Wednesday night, they retreated to the dressing room when it became clear the Bucks were not going to show.
NBA Vice President Kiki Vandeweghe was among a delegation seen outside the Bucks' dressing room. The league postponed all three matches scheduled for Wednesday, saying they would be rescheduled.
