Boxing promoter Eddie Hearn has said that Katie Taylor and Amanda Serrano's fight on May 2nd, which was confirmed today, will be the biggest women's fight of all time.
Two-weight world champion Taylor will put her unbeaten professional record on the line against Puerto Rico’s seven-weight world champion on the undercard of Dillian Whyte and Alexander Povetkin heavyweight bout at the Manchester Arena.
Since this morning's announcement, Taylor's promoter Hearn has voiced his excitement at the clash.
"Katie Taylor versus Amanda Serrano for the undisputed lightweight championship of the world - this is the biggest women's fight of all time.
"The whole of Ireland and Puerto Rico are going to be watching this absolute war between the undisputed champion and the seven weight division champion - it doesn't get any bigger!"

Serrano's promoter Lou DiBella seems equally as enthusiastic about the bout;
