Conor McGregor has been charged by police with three counts of assault and one count of criminal mischief.
There were chaotic scenes at the Barclays Centre last night after the UFC fighter filmed hurling a hand truck at a bus.
McGregor and a number of others began throwing missiles at the vehicle which parked at the loading dock waiting to bring fighters back to their hotels after a UFC media event.
Michael Chiesa was left with a cut face after a window on the bus was broken. A police spokesperson described the injury as minor.
The Dubliner presented himself at the 78th Precinct police station in Brooklyn last night and was taken into custody by NYPD officers.
He is due to appear in court in New York later today.
Reports suggest the 29-year-old has been charged with three counts of misdemeanor assault and one count of felony criminal mischief.
A second MMA fighter from Dublin has also been charged with assault and criminal mischief. 25-year-old Cian Cowley with an address at Hyde Park in Dalkey is also due in court.
