Despite being on too late in Las Vegas to be included in any of the Sunday papers, Floyd Mayweather's TKO win over Conor McGregor came up for discussion.
Former World Champion Andy Lee gave his take on the bout. "It pretty much went the way I expected," he told Molloy, adding: "And I think both guys come out of it looking well - both did a credit to themselves in the way the fight played out because no one knew what to expect from McGregor. How he would box if he could box at all?
"And as the fight unfolded, the first three rounds, it appeared that Floyd Mayweather was just having a look at him. Also, having been out for two years and being 40 years of age, you could see that the sharpness and reflexes weren't there and that he probably needed those three rounds to get himself together to feel himself into the fight.

"I think he was just finding out what Conor McGregor had and once he kind of felt his power and seeing what technique he was up against, he saw the easist and best way to beat him was to walk forward with his hands up and make McGregor fight at a pace he was uncomfortable with, make him do all the work throwing punches and exerting himself while Floyd stayed compact with his hands high and took the punches on the gloves and threw his more stinging more hurtful punches in between and eventually broke McGregor down.
"But going back to even before the fight, it seemed that it was never in doubt in Mayweather's mind, like he barely warmed-up. He was getting a massage with about 30 minutes to go back in the dressing room. You could see he did 20 seconds of pads with his dad and he wasn't even punching - he was going through the motions," he added.
