Off The Ball are delighted to have been nominated for six awards at the annual IMRO radio awards.
The IMRO awards "mark the very best in Irish radio broadcasting and recognise those who have made contributions over the year," according to their website. The shortlist for the awards was announced on Tuesday morning.
Three of our broadcasters, Joe Molloy, Nathan Murphy and Eoin Sheahan have all been nominated in the Sports Broadcaster category, while Off The Ball has also been nominated for Sports Programme of the year.
Off The Ball has also been nominated twice in the category of Best Sports Story for its coverage of the Gordon Elliott scandal that occurred in March, and for the story 'Giles at 80.'
