SOCCER - PL

Aston Villa are spending their first morning out of the Premier League's bottom three for the first time since February.

A third goal in as many games from Trezeguet gave the Birmingham side a 1-nil win at home to Arsenal.

Defeat means Arsenal need to win the FA Cup if they're to return to Europe.

Watford goalkeeper Ben Foster says a lack of confidence has seen them tumble into the relegation zone.

They fell to a 4-nil loss at home to Manchester City with Raheem Sterling scoring twice.

It means the battle against the drop will go to the final day on Sunday.

Liverpool will finally get their hands on the Premier League trophy tonight.

Club legend Kenny Dalglish will help with the presentation on The Kop.

That all follows Liverpool's game with a Chelsea side still chasing Champions League football.

Kick off at Anfield is at 8.15.

Before that, Manchester United continue their own push for a top four place.

They welcome West Ham to Old Trafford from 6.

CHAMPIONSHIP

It promises to be a dramatic night of action in the Championship, as the second-tier season draws to a close.

West Brom know a win against QPR will ensure they gain automatic promotion to the Premier League.

If they lose, Brentford could overtake them with victory over strugglers Barnsley.

Fulham are also in the hunt ahead of their final match at Wigan.

The hosts aren't safe from relegation, due to the threat of a 12-point deduction for going into administration.

Bottom team Hull can still avoid the drop in their clash with play-off hopefuls Cardiff, while Luton will aim to do likewise when they face Blackburn.

Of the sides just outside the bottom three, Charlton play at champions Leeds, Birmingham take on Derby and Middlesbrough make the trip to Sheffield Wednesday.

Swansea head to Reading with hopes of taking the final spot in the top six, while Nottingham Forest will remain in the play-offs with a point against Stoke.

Elsewhere, Millwall meet Huddersfield and there's Bristol City versus Preston.
