Chiedozie Ogbene scored a bicycle kick to equalize for Ireland against Belgium.
How is Chiedozie Ogbene still at Rotherham?
The Ireland attacker continues to show out in international football. No matter where he is on the pitch, he's comfortable on the ball and smart with his decisions. Notably, Ogbene possesses a trait that not many Ireland players have over recent times. He knows where to be at all times and how to put himself in position to score goals.
Ogbene is now up to three goals in six appearances for Stephen Kenny's side.
He's becoming an undroppable fixture in the team. And after Michy Batshuayi's world class opening goal, Ogbene replied with a world class goal of his own. It's not often a player scores a bicycle kick, it's even less often that they do so in international football.
Scoring one in international football while playing in the third tier of English football? It might be unprecedented.
"It's an absolute piece of MAGIC from Ogbene!" 😍✨

Ireland were able to put some consistent pressure on the Belgium defence for just a couple of minutes. They didn't threaten or press high upfield at any other point during the first half. The relief and excitement created by the goal is captured by Callum Robinson at the top of the screen, celebrating on his own to the fans as if he had scored the goal himself.
Robinson began the move by finding space wide on the left. He clipped a smart ball into the six-yard box before the ball breaks to Ogbene back at the near post. His first touch perfect sets up his second and the second puts the ball in the top corner.
It's a vital goal in the context of this game as Ireland were in danger of losing without ever throwing a real punch.
