Kenny Cunningham joined Eoin Sheahan on Wednesday's OTB AM to discuss Liverpool's historic comeback from 3-0 down in Anfield last night.
The former Irish international also gave his tactical insight for tonight's meeting between Ajax and Spurs.
Cunningham says the fundamental aspects of Liverpool's play was the key to Klopp's side turning the tie on it's head. He believes the German manager's implementation of simple tactics has been key to their success.
"Ball in to a wide area, don't over complicate it. Clear your feet and get it in to the box,' expressed Cunningham.
Kenny thinks Liverpool's major improvements have come in the central midfield positions, and that the scousers have reached a level of consistency that's seem them make a push on all fronts.
" For me they are really well served. Last season that was Liverpool's problem, they needed reinforcement. He's gone and solved it with the players he's brought in to the fold. They are very consistent.
Cunningham also looked ahead to the biggest game in Tottenham's history as they look to overturn a one goal deficit in Amsterdam later tonight. He thinks the second-leg could be too much for the young Ajax side.
"I could see Spurs turning over that deficit but at the same time that Ajaz team is a beautiful team to watch, totally different beast in terms of the youth in the team - a different type of football. It's the first time they are under real pressure,' the former centre-back told #OTBAM.
