Everton moved up to 5th in the Premier League table courtesy of a 2-0 win away to Leicester City on Wednesday evening.
Goals in either half from Richarlison and Mason Holgate secured back-to-back Premier League wins for Carlo Ancelotti's side.
Seamus Coleman was again absent for the visitors with a thigh injury, with Holgate deputising at right-back.
Richarlison's opener came midway through the first half.
Alex Iwobi spread the ball to the Everton left where Richarlison brought the ball back inside under the watch of Leicester full-back James Justin. But the Brazilian wrapped his right foot around the ball, powering it past Kasper Schmeichel.
Everton made the points safe with eighteen minutes to go.
A Gylfi Sigurdsson cross wasn't dealt with by Schmeichel and the Leicester defence. Some ping-pong ensued, with Holgate the beneficiary prodding the ball home from close range.
Everton moved themselves back into Champions League contention with the victory, and they end the night just a point behind their Wednesday night hosts.
