Tottenham have signed Joe Rodon from Swansea City in a deal worth £15million (€16.5m).
The Wales international defender has signed a five-year deal at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The deal was completed just before the deadline closed for signings from the EFL.
Rodon will cost Spurs an initial £11million (€12.1m), with an additional £4million to follow if certain criteria are met.
The 22-year old made 54 appearances for the Swansea first-team after making his breakthrough in the 2018-19 season. He has 4 Wales caps to his name, with half of those coming in the last week against both the Republic of Ireland and Bulgaria.
He hasn't been registered in time for this weekend's Premier League meeting with West Ham, nor Spurs' Europa League group campaign.
His new manager Jose Mourinho said earlier on Friday that he was almost entirely happy with his transfer business.
"Almost but with football coaches it is always 'almost'. Apart from some ultra privileged guy that can get everything he wants, especially in one of these teams that do not comply with Financial Fair Play, for us is always “almost”.
"But it was fantastic, it was more than I was expecting.
"In my analysis of the team's needs and evolution we were talking about different targets but I never thought we would go so far as we did, especially because of the moment and I can only praise what the board did for the team.
"I can feel in the players these feelings that I love which is that they are happy but they are worried. They are happy that the squad is good, they are happy to see players coming in and making the squad better but at the same time they are worried about themselves.
"This is the kind of feeling you have in the top teams and we are having that now."
