Our Premier League end of season awards - inspired by The Last Dance

With the Premier League season now over, we've decided to hand out a slightly different style of end of season awards - inspired by The Last Dance.

Eoin Sheahan made his picks on OTB AM this morning, and some of them were far from easy to narrow down.

===

1 - THE STEVE KERR AWARD FOR BEING GOOD AT BEING A HUMAN

Winner: Dr Marcus Rashford
No discussion needed on this one...
===

2 - THE OTHER STEVE KERR AWARD FOR GETTING PUNCHED IN THE FACE BY A TEAMMATE

Winner: Diogo Jota (Aston Villa - training ground bust-up with Danny Drinkwater)
===

3 - THE “AND THAT REALLY PISSED ME OFF...” AWARD

Based on Jordan getting pissed off with Karl Malone getting MVP in 1997...
Winner: Kevin De Bruyne (overlooked for plenty of awards so far)
 ===

4 - THE “AND THAT REALLY MADE ME ANGRY AWARD...”

Not to be confused with the "and that really pissed me off..." award, this gong is dedicated to Michael Jordan turning it on when anyone tried to embarrass him.
Winner: Ralph Hasenhuttl and Southampton in general, post 9-0 hammering.

File photo dated 21-01-2020 of Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl.

5 - THE CONTAMINATED PIZZA AWARD

Which Premier League figure from the season gone by would have the cunning to contaminate a pizza or set a devious trap?
Winner: Coleen Rooney, for achievements in the Wagatha Christie saga
 ===

6 - THE SCOTTIE PIPPEN AWARD FOR GENERAL UNDERAPPRECIATION

Winner: Gini Wijnaldum
The least talked-about player on that Liverpool team.
 ===

7 - THE OTHER SCOTTIE PIPPEN AWARD FOR QUITTING, SULKING AND LETTING THE TEAM DOWN

Winner: Matteo Guendouzi
 ===

8 - THE 63 POINT GAME AWARD

Best individual performance - MJ style.
Winner: Trent Alexander Arnold vs Leicester at Christmas
 ===

9 - THE “YOU CAN’T CONVINCE ME THAT GUY ISN’T AN ASSHOLE” AWARD

Best beef, with Isiah Thomas vs Michael Jordan levels of hate...
Winner: Souness vs Pogba
 ===

10 - THE JERRY KRAUSE AWARD FOR 'MISUNDERSTOOD' EXECUTIVE

Winner: Mike Ashley

Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley in the stands during the Premier League match at St James' Park, Newcastle.

 ===

11 - THE MICHAEL JORDAN CIGAR AWARD

Who loves smoking as much as Michael Jordan?
Winner: Alexandre Lacazette
He's fond of the hippy crack. The Frenchman was warned 18 months ago by his club for using “hippy crack”, but he did it again at the start of lockdown.
===

12 - DENNIS RODMAN AND MADONNA AWARD

The fun, exciting, destined to fail relationship...
Winner: Arsenal and David Luiz
===

13 - THE DOUG COLLINS AWARD

For a brutal sacking - Watford are guilty of going through managers like hot dinners, and the sacking of Nigel Pearson with just two games left leaves them with zero relegation sympathy.
Winner: Nigel Pearson
===

14 - THE ISIAH THOMAS SORE LOSER AWARD

The touchline shout-off with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp gave us all a bit of excitement, but it has also earned Lampard this dubious honour.
Winner: Frank Lampard
===

15 - THE MICHAEL JORDAN TRIES HIS HAND AT BASEBALL AWARD

Which footballer decided to do something totally different? There could be only one winner...

Winner: Kevin Kilbane on Ice
