Dundalk have completed the signing of United States international Joshua Gatt.
The 28-year old winger has joined the SSE Airtricity Premier Division champions on a short-term deal.
The move is subject to international clearance.
His arrival comes on the same day that Dundalk confirmed the appointment of former Waterford boss Alan Reynolds as an assistant to Vinny Perth.
Gatt tweeted to say, "I’m extemely honored and exciting to begin this new chapter of my professional career with Dundalk!
"I can’t wait to get started with this fantastic club! I couldn’t have asked for a better situation to start back up and tackle the league and European football with a great team."
Gatt won a pair of international caps under Jurgen Klinsmann having risen to a degree of prominence while playing under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Molde.
Following a series of knee injuries while in Norway, Gatt decamped to the US for spells at Minnesota United, Colorado Rapids and Detroit City.

His most recent club were Austrian Bundesliga side SC Rheindorf Altach with whom he's had two spells.
He's already appeared in a Dundalk jersey, playing 69 minutes of a pre-season friendly with Longford Town in February.
Gatt has already completed a two-week period of isolation following his arrival from the United States and rejoined the Dundalk squad this week.
Should his move receive the adequate clearance, Gatt will be involved when football resumes with a four-team tournament next month.
Dundalk are also due to enter the 2020-21 UEFA Champions League at the first qualifying round stage (August 18-19).
