The EA Sports Cup final between Derry City and Dundalk will be played at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium next month.
The home team draw took place at FAI HQ in Abbotstown, with the final set to take place on Saturday, September 14 at 8pm.
2017 winners Dundalk booked their place in the final after the 6-1 semi-final win over Bohemians last night at Oriel Park.
Holders Derry City advanced with a 4-2 extra-time win over Waterford two weeks ago and will be aiming to lift the trophy for a 12th time.
Dundalk have won the League Cup six times, making them the second-most successful club in the competition.
Meanwhile, Dundalk's league fixture against Shamrock Rovers on Friday, September 13 will now be postponed and a new date will be announced in the coming weeks.
