Derry City statement:
Derry City FC can confirm that this Friday night’s home game against Bohemians will be used as a ‘test event’ for the safe return of spectators to the Brandywell.
A limited number of members will be admitted to the match, and that will take account of advice from the Public Health Authority coupled with Risk Assessments carried out by both the Football Club and Derry/Strabane Council.
As advertised at the start of the year, tickets for matches for which there is a reduced capacity will be balloted among members in the first instance.
There will now be a draw for Friday night’s allocation where members will be drawn at random for the chance to buy one ticket each for the match.
All members will receive an email today/tomorrow detailing the timings for this draw, and how to purchase tickets if successful.
