WATCH: Solskjær left frustrated with Leicester City draw

Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjær was left frustrated after his side played out a 2-2 draw with Leicester City at the King Power Stadium in the Premier League's first St. Stephen's Day fixture on Saturday afternoon.

Marcus Rashford put the visitors ahead in the 23rd minute before Harvey Barnes equalised less than 10 minutes later.

United then thought they had probably done enough to come away with all three points when Bruno Fernandes made it 2-1 with just over 10 minutes left on the clock.

The hosts fought back again though and Axel Tuanzebe diverted a close-range effort from Jamie Vardy into his own net in the 85th minute to keep the Foxes second in the table.

Speaking to BT Sport after the game Solskjær said he felt they perhaps should have come away with the win.

"Of course, disappointed that we didn't win this afternoon, we had loads of big chances and we could have finished it off, but then again, they're a very dangerous side a quality side and the goal from Vardy just shows his quality."

In terms of the Premier League table, Leicester stay second, a point ahead of United in third, at least until Chelsea play Arsenal on Saturday evening.

The happiest set of fans with the result will be Liverpool's - they remain top and can go six points clear when they play on Sunday.

Solskjær says they must look forward now as they carry on their title challenge.

"We've got a game in three days, we've got an extra recovery day which we will use wisely.

"One point is not the worst result but we're disappointed we didn't get away with three here because it's a very good side we were playing against."
