Revenue reported on the raid on their website:

"As part of an intelligence-led operation, Revenue officers seized 22kg of suspected heroin, with an estimated value of €3 million (subject to confirmation through analysis), in the Dublin 15 area.

"The joint operation was conducted by Revenue’s Custom Service and An Garda Síochána through the Garda National Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau (GNDOCB). The collaboration between both agencies as well as international colleagues was significant in the successful outcome of this operation.

"Two men, aged 31 and 41, were arrested and are currently detained under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996 at Blanchardstown Garda Station.

"Investigations are ongoing."
