Ireland’s Joseph Duffy will return to the Octagon against England’s Marc Diakiese.
An initial report from NewsomeMMA.co.uk revealed the fight was “in the works for UFC London.”
Sources close to the promotion confirmed to OffTheBall.com that both fighters have signed bout agreements, and that the fight is official.
The sources asked for anonymity.
UFC Fight Night: Till vs. Masvidal ( aka UFC Fight Night on ESPN+ 5 or UFC Fight Night 147) takes place Mar. 16 at London’s 02 Arena.
"Irish" Joe Duffy has been on the sidelines since undergoing surgery on a torn labrum last February.
The St. Patrick's Day weekend card will be the Montreal-based fighter's first trip to the Octagon for 16 months.
Donegal's Duffy last fight saw him lose to James Vick via TKO at UFC 217 in Madison Square Garden.
Marc Diakiese returns to the Octagon after three-straight losses, most recently suffering a decision defeat to Nasrat Haqparast last July at UFC Fight Night Hamburg.
The feature bout of the card sees Liverpool’s Darren Till face Jorge Masvidal in a welterweight clash:
