Jason Quigley will make his long-awaited return to the ring in February.
The former NABF middleweight champion will face Shane Mosely Jr. for the NABO title at the Fantasy Springs casino in Indio, California on February 13.
Mosely's a veteran of 19 professional fights, with 9 of his 16 wins coming via knockout.
Quigley was last between the ropes a year ago, stopping Fernando Marin in what was the Donegal native's second outing in six weeks. Both of those fights were under the tutelage of former middleweight world champion Andy Lee.
"I feel more than ready for this fight,” Quigley said of the Mosely bout.
“I worked hard during lockdown and have kept ready to fight at any time.
“It has been a tough year for everyone in the world.
“I have kept working, kept sharp and kept ready to take the call whenever it came.”
Quigley hopes to put in a big performance against Mosely, and cement his status as a possible world title contender down the line.
"I feel that I am very close to a real breakout fight to get a big title shot and this is the next step on that journey," he said.
Quigley added, "These titles are all stepping stones to where I want to go in this sport. I have to get in and take care of business.
"Shane Mosley is the next man in my way and I have to take him out to move up the ladder. I want to start making some noise in this division and I know I’m close to the big fights I want."
