Dubliner Keith Treacy made his Premier League debut at the age of 21.
He played in Ireland's first ever game at The Aviva Stadium against Leo Messi and Argentina.
He also played for a number of other English club and Drogheda and St Pat's in the League of Ireland.
Three years ago, aged 27, he quit football to continue he battle with alcoholism.
He has been sober for two years and is in search of a new club.
