All-Ireland winners Tipperary have dominated the PwC Hurling All-Stars team of the year for 2019 with seven players selected.
In total there are five counties represented with nods too for beaten finalists Kilkenny, Leinster champions Wexford, National League and Munster champions Limerick as well as Cork.
The awards will be presented at the Convention Centre on Friday 31st October where the football All-Stars will also be revealed.
The night will also see one of Séamus Callanan (Tipperary), Patrick Horgan (Cork) or TJ Reid (Kilkenny) awarded 2019 Hurler of the year.
Adrian Mullen (Kilkenny), Kyle Hayes (Limerick) and Rory O’Connor (Wexford) are up for Young Hurler of the Year meanwhile.
Tipperary defender Pádraic Maher equals a county record with his sixth award.
The Thurles Sarsfields clubman equals the personal collections of Nicky English and Eoin Kelly, who claimed six awards each, and he is joined by brother Ronan who collects is set to receive his second award.
Premier goalkeeper Brian Hogan creates a father and son combination, joining his 1987 winning father Ken by claiming the goalkeeper’s spot after his breakthrough season.
