After recording a dominant win against Kilkenny in Sunday's All-Ireland hurling final, details of the Tipperary homecoming to Thurles have been confirmed.
Three years after their last All-Ireland final success, Liam Sheedy's Tipperary ran out 3-25 to 0-20 winners in Croke Park on Sunday evening.
The outstanding team across the championship year, a Munster final defeat to Limerick signalled the sole low in what has been a year of progressive highs.
With the Tipperary public undoubtedly keen to celebrate their heroes, details of the Tipperary homecoming have been confirmed.
Although such events rarely run exactly as planned, it is expected that the Tipperary homecoming will commence in Semple Stadium at 7:00 pm on Monday evening.
The stadium will be open to fans from 4:00 pm with music and entertainment kicking-off shortly after 5:00 pm.
