RTE Sport Classics to be shown every Thursday for ten weeks

RTE have announced that they will be showing highlights from Irish sporting lore, during the coronavirus lockdown.

The announcement will come as welcome news to sports fans looking for their fix and covers most of the sporting bases.

The calendar for the events is below, with something for everyone:

Thursday 16 April         
GAA - Clare v Offaly All-Ireland Hurling Final 1995
Clare break their duck after 81 years away.

Thursday 23 April
GAA
 - Cork v Waterford, Munster Hurling Final, 2004
Waterford get their seventh All Ireland title, against Munster opponents.

Thursday 30 April
GAA - 
  Offaly v Kerry All- Ireland Football Final, 1982
Offaly put paid to Kerry's hopes of five in a row.

Thursday 7 May
