It's been confirmed that the Munster Hurling semi-final clash of Tipperary and Clare will serve as a test event for supporters' return.
3,000 fans will be allowed inside the LIT Gaelic Grounds on Sunday July 4.
Minister for Sport Jack Chambers has added the game to a new list of test events taking place this month.
Among them, is the Leinster Hurling semi-final double header at Croke Park on July 3 which will have 8,000 fans present.
Meanwhile, 600 will be at the Carlisle Grounds on Friday July 2 for the SSE Airtricity First Division meeting of Bray Wanderers and Cobh Ramblers.
