All-Ireland hurling champions Limerick will begin their 2020 championship campaign against Cork in the last four of Munster.
John Kiely's side - who are looking to win a third consecutive provincial title - have avoided the quarter final draw, and have been paired off with the Rebels for a place in the final.
Limerick swept past Clare, Tipperary and Waterford in the province last season, before going on to win a second All-Ireland title in three years.
Their opponents Cork, meanwhile, will be looking to get back to a first final since 2018, having lost out to Waterford in the semis in 2020.
This season's Munster hurling championship will continue in a traditional straight-knockout format for the second year in a row, due to the ongoing complications of the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, unlike the football competition, there will be a backdoor qualifier system in the All-Ireland hurling series.
On the other side of the draw, Waterford will have to win three games to get their hands on the newly-named Mick Mackey Cup.
Liam Cahill's side were the surprise package of the 2020 season, reaching the Munster and All-Ireland final only to be beaten by Limerick on each occasion.
They'll go up against Clare in the quarter final, with the winner set to take on Tipperary in the last four.
Dates and throw in times are yet to be confirmed, with matches expected to take place at neutral venues.
