As the dust settles on Friday's OTB AM and the selection of Waterford's sporting 'Mt Rushmore', thoughts have already turned to Monday where we will determine the four sportspeople who will adorn Kilkenny's mythical mountain.
To the surprise of many onlookers from Waterford, the joint proposition of Oisin Langan and Jessie Barr resulted in no GAA representative finding a place on the county's Rushmore.
It is unlikely to be the case when Enda McEvoy and Gary Halpin set about deciding on Kilkenny's Rushmore this coming Monday on OTB AM. In reality, the big question will be whether or not anybody without a hurley in their hand can make it up there.
When it comes to the potential hurlers who will make it up onto Kilkenny's Rushmore, the list is all but endless.
Henry Shefflin with his 10 All-Ireland winners medals and everything else he achieved would make for a controversial omission. As the man who managed Kilkenny to such success after a hugely impressive playing career himself, Brian Cody must surely be in with a shout too.
Beyond that, there are in all likelihood too many to mention. Eddie Keher, DJ Carey and perhaps even TJ Reid is in with a shout if a modern eye is being cast over the options. By the same token, however, JJ Delaney, Jackie Tyrrell, Tommy Walsh, Eddie Brennan ... it is an impossible task.
On the camogie side of things, Angela Downey will be a front-runner no doubt, but who knows at this point.
If room can be found beyond hurling and camogie, there are a few notable names that will be hard to ignore.
As a former Irish captain and Lion, Willie Duggan will be a primary contender if Gary Halpin has his say. In tennis, Mabel Cahill won back-to-back US Open titles in the late 1800s, while Mick Dowling came within one round of an Olympic bronze medals boxing for Ireland in 1972.
The multi-talented Maeve Kyle ran for Ireland in three successive Olympic games (1956-64) and made over 50 appearances as an international hockey player - a consistent presence in the World All-Star team throughout the 1950s.
Ducksy Walsh was an absolute legend on the handball scene, while Arthur Lanigan-O'Keeffe has also represented Ireland on an Olympic level in the Modern pentathlon.
In soccer, Ireland internationals Sean Maguire and Karen Duggan may both be deserving of mention.
