A member of the Kerry senior hurling panel has tested positive for COVID-19.
Manager Fintan O’Connor confirmed the news this evening.
Kerry are scheduled to face Antrim in the Division 2-A final of the Allianz Hurling League on Sunday week.
"Like every team in the country we've had a number of brushes with COVID," O'Connor told Radio Kerry.
"We've one confirmed case of it in the squad at the moment.
"Obviously we're following all the public health instructions to the letter. That player hasn't been with the squad for the last twelve days.
"So, it hasn't impinged on anything we're doing training-wise.
"I'd be hoping that that player will be able to return and play in the league final.
"Without naming names, and I'm not, I think it's better to deal with it as a team. As a group we're trying to follow all of the COVID guidelines and we're getting a lot of help on it."
