Cork manager, John Meyler joined Joe Molloy in studio to reflect on Cork's victory over Limerick.

Meyler expressed the difficulty of preparing for their game against Limerick after losing to Tipperary last Sunday. He felt that the key to getting over the loss to Tipperary was to be "confident of the players, and confident of the management." He talked about immediately beginning preparation for Cork vs Waterford on 6th June following their victory over Limerick.

When talking about the analysis after Cork's loss, Meyler highlighted the balance that has to be kept between his own interpretation of the performance and the stats given by the analysis team:

"Stats can give you the right results, stats can mislead you. It's how you interpret the information, how you evaluate the information, and then implement the value out of that information."

Meyler went on to talk about how both him and his son, Coventry City's David Meyler are red-green colour blind. He talked about the difficulty of being colour blind and how "if you put a Cork and a Limerick jersey together, it can be difficult from the far side of the pitch."

He talked about his teaching methods, both as manager and lecturer of Business Strategy at Cork IT. He said that he prefers the practical side of teaching over theory. "If you want to teach people, teach them by practicing."

Meyler complimented the quality of hurling and attendance to games is "unbelievable" with hurling over the last few years becoming "quicker, faster, and more fluent game".

When asked about adding more weight to the sliotar, he said that will slow hurling down;

"People want to see speed, people want to see skill, people want to see incredible goals, and that's what they want."
