Offaly GAA say that all games in the county will go ahead as planned this weekend.
It follows a spike in cases of coronavirus in the midlands counties of Laois, Offaly and Kildare.
There have been calls for all games to be postponed in light of the localised increase in COVID-19.
The National Public Health Emergency Team (NPHET) met for over 2 hours on Friday to agree on a set of measures for the three counties.
Acting chief medical officer Dr. Ronan Glynn has already refused to rule out local restrictions.

The counties have had 226 COVID-19 cases in the past two weeks, and it's already known there will be at least 60 further cases from these counties confirmed this evening.
Any local lockdown will have to be signed off by Ministers at a special Cabinet meeting this afternoon.
Offaly GAA say they contacted Croke Park on Friday morning to establish if they needed to adjust their plans for the weekend.
Laois GAA also say their slate of games will go ahead as planned.
Four Offaly senior football championship matches are scheduled for this weekend, starting with tonight's meeting of Edenderry and Shamrocks in Rhode.
Bord Na Mona O'Connor Park hosts two matches - Cappincur v Clara (Saturday, 6.30pm) and Bracknagh v Ferbane (Sunday, 1.30pm).
The last of the four games is Rhode's clash with Tullamore in Birr on Sunday evening.
"Whilst this continues to be an evolving situation," the County Board say, "The advice for now is that all games can proceed as scheduled with strict adherence to the published protocols.
"However, we will continue to review the situation very closely, and act decisively if Government advice changes later today or in the coming days."
