As the saying goes: goals win games.
It took just two minutes for Galway's Ailish O'Reilly to find the back of the net with a bullet of a shot in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie final against Kilkenny at Croke Park on Sunday.
Then with 24 minutes on the clock her team-mate Niamh Hannify would make it two before O'Reilly would fire another one home to make it a hat-trick for the tribes at half-time as they went in with an impressive 3-7 to 10 points lead.
Then in the second half, in front of a record-breaking crowd of 24, 730 spectators Kilkenny were far more impressive as their forwards shifted into gear and it looked as if they may have enough to catch Galway.
Cathal Murray's side hung on though.
They may have only scored seven points in the second half but their wonderful start was enough as it finished up 3-14 to 17 points.
CONGRATULATIONS GALWAY!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉

Galway are now the 2019 National League and All-Ireland champions and they did it the hard way beating Cork and Kilkenny along the way.
It's just the third time that the O'Duffy Cup is heading to the Tribal County after wins in 1996 and 2013.
