Dublin's quest for a 10th successive Leinster Senior Football crown got off to a positive note.

The five-in-a-row All-Ireland Champions beat Westmeath 0-22 to 0-11 in their quarter-final at MW Hire O'Moore Park.

Ciarán Kilkenny scored five points from play in a man of the match performance in what was Dessie Farrell's first championship game as Dubs manager.

Elsewhere, Cavan secured their place in the Ulster Senior Football Championship semi-finals today by beating Antrim 13 points to 9 at Kingspan Breffni Park.

Tipperary beat Limerick by a point after extra-time to reach the Munster Football Championship Final.

1-15 to 2-11 was the final score at the LIT Gaelic Grounds.

Defending champions Dublin booked their place in the semi-finals of the All-Ireland Ladies Football Championship today.

They beat Waterford by 17-points to 1-10 to secure the top spot in their group.

Mayo opened their campaign with a 4-17 to 0-4 victory over Tyrone.

Cork beat Kerry 1-14 to 14 points with Saoirse Noonan scoring the crucial goal for the Rebels.

In the All-Ireland Senior Hurling qualifiers, Cork beat Dublin on a scoreline of 1-25 to 22 points.

The result means Kieran Kingston's side go into the draw on Monday morning while Dublin's year is over.

Elsewhere today Clare beat Laois by a point at Nowlan Park to advance.

0-27 to 3-17 was the final score there.

Wexford rounded off their All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship campaign with a victory.

The Models defeated their Leinster rivals Offaly by 1-15 to 1-13 at Enniscorthy to see Offaly finish bottom of their group.
