Ger Cunningham faces a trip back home to Cork as his Dublin side were drawn against his native county in Round 1 of the Hurling Qualifiers.
That game is the tie of the round, as both team will look to bounce back from their respective provincial semi-final losses.
Despite their loss to Waterford, Clare remain one of the favourites to win the All-Ireland title. Davy Fitzgerald's side have been drawn at home against Laois.
The remaining two games, sees Wexford face Offaly and Limerick travel east to Mullingar to meet Westmeath.
