Galway's desire to remain involved in the Leinster Hurling Championship is going to be put to the test next week.
Two Galway clubs have tabled motions that call for the county to withdraw from the championship in 2017, unless changes are made.
Sarsfields and Ballindereen are calling for Galway to be allowed play Championship matches at home, for representation on the Leinster Council and for their underage teams to also be inluded in the Leinster championship.
They also want Galway to receive the same financial benefits as the other counties competing.
